The disciples "devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." Acts 2:42
Lavonne

"Just as fellowship was a binding together of 1st Century believers, so it proves to be an integral part of the body of believers here at Kalkaska Church of Christ. Our small groups, who meet in various homes throughout the week, provide the opportunity for us to share the Word - and one anothe'rs burdens & joys with others in the group. It has been a wonderful experience for my husband & I, who recently relocated to this town."

Lavonne

"Open fellowship with potlucks - carry-in dinners, midweek home Bible studies, small groups, basketball, softball games, scrapbooking - Group of ladies meet to fellowship & scrapbook together."

"People here are very friendly. Bible studies are held at homes throughout the week. We study different topics or books of the Bible to help us become more knowledgeable& help our faith grow stronger. This also helps us form friendships with our fellow Christians. Every person needs someone to call friend. People are more than willing to become friends as your brothers & sisters in Christ."

Barbara

"I'm the coach of the softball team, we play games with other churches in the area. We have many times we meet together for potlucks in our fellowship hall. (We) have picnics and golf outings. We consider ourselves a family and like to be together for fun and support."

"It's (fellowship) belonging to a church family and feeling you can talk to them about being up or down and getting complimented or prayed for according to the need. It's also open to helping outsiders without expecting anything in return."

"Even though our church has grown and gone to two services I have found that everyone is so warm and welcoming to newcomers. We have gotten to know others, have taken motorcycle trips with our adopted dad & mom, and always made sure to have our own church service, taking in God's beauty.
Scrapbooking is open the 1st & 3rd Friday's to anyone interested. There is always tools to borrow & lively conversation, especially when Connie comes.
There are also Friday night fish fries that many of us have gotten together and gone to. Hey, isn't it time to go again?"

Patti

"I especially enjoy the real fellowship that exists in our church. This characteristic is exhibited by the minister, elders, teachers, and brothers and sisters attending every function of the church."

"The fellowship of this church is so wonderful. Many members of the church have become my close friends and whenever you need someone they are there for you. If you want to have wonderful fellowship, become involved in any program. Another great fellowship opportunity is Wilderness Christian Camp."

Jan
