The disciples "devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching
and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."

"I especially appreciate the fact that our church participates
in the Lord's Supper each and every first day of the week as did
the first church."

"It means so much to me to have communion every week. It draws
me closer to God and reminds me how Jesus died for me."

"The Lord's supper is given weekly because we remember Jesus
Christ, His life, teachings, His death on the cross & resurrection
from the grave. He is our Lord and He is the host. We are all guests
at his table to share in this spiritual food."

"This is the greatest privilege to be near to God. You have
another chance to ask for forgiveness for your sins. You take the
bread and you remember the suffering Jesus went through to give
you a chance to start with no sin. You drink the blood (cup) to
feel like a part of Jesus pouring out the last he had for you to
have a chance to go to heaven."

"We believe that when Jesus said, when two or more of you
are gathered together we are to remember Him. We remember him every
Lord's day at His table as a family of believers. We remember and
thank Jesus for His sacrifice for all mankind."

"Every Lord's day without fail we have communion because our
Lord went to the cross and gave His life that we might live eternally
with Him. We take this in remembrance of Jesus."

"Breaking of bread in a nourishment sense is something I enjoy,
because when we have a potluck or picnic within the church, there
is more time to visit with people and it gives me time to visit
longer with people I don't know or don't know well. It's also time
to visit with those I haven't seen or talked to recently.
Breaking of bread in the communion sense is very important to me,
as I've read in the Bible that we are supposed to partake it on
the first day of the week, I feel that if I miss this time, that
my week has not started right."
